(Zagan, Poland)—Remember the film classic, The Great Escape, with Steve McQueen, which told the story of the most infamous German prison camp in WWII?

Steve McQueenAs noted in a report in The Scotsman, archaeologists have now discovered a sealed tunnel which they think is the same one—named George—that the some of the Prisoners of War of Stalag Luft III tried to escape in.

Until now, the location of that tunnel has been a mystery.
