The Road Show Encouraging New Generation to "Dare to be a Daniel"

Teresa Neumann : Mar 23, 2011  Staff - Inspire Magazine

"Christians are compelled by the love of God to serve and lead locally and nationally in politics, and our historical contribution is vast and there is a growing Christian community in Parliament." - Dr. Dave Landrum

Susa(United Kingdom)—The Bible Society in the U.K. is encouraging a new generation of Believers to "Dare to be a Daniel." To that end, they have partnered with other Christian organizations to host a road show tour called SUSA—named after the Biblical city from which such heroes of God hailed—to "educate, inspire and equip Christians to see involvement in politics as being Biblical, missional and possible."

According to a report in Inspire Magazine, "The aim of the tour is to enable Christians to hear leading speakers share their testimony of how God's people can be 'salt and light' in the public square, then have a chance to ask them questions."

Dr. Dave Landrum, Senior Parliamentary Officer for Bible Society says: "Christians are compelled by the love of God to serve and lead locally and nationally in politics, and our historical contribution is vast and there is a growing Christian community in Parliament. We hope the SUSA tour will encourage more Christians to get involved in day-to-day political life, be that locally or nationally."
