United For Israel March Brings Supporters Together against Antisemitism: BCN Interview with Leader Sean Feucht-'Enough is Enough'

"...There's more that are with us than those against us—we proved that with the United for Israel March. I think the NYPD estimated it to be 4 to 5,000 people making it the largest pro-Israel march in the history of New York City..." -Sean Feucht

[Breaking Christian News] As we look on with disbelief at what's been happening on college campuses across America in the last month or so, it certainly does feel like "Never Again" is happening now—a reference to the holocaust cautionary saying. And those of us who remember first-hand, or who were taught in school about the atrocities done to Jews back in WWII are now incredulous that those rumblings have returned. Especially in light of the horror perpetrated by Hamas last October 7th.

But we who are members of the Body of Christ have an opportunity at this moment in time to make a stand for what is right, linking arms with our Jewish brothers and sisters, and standing in the gap against such evil that's come against them once again.

Helping to lead this call is artist and worship leader Sean Feucht. He recently led the first a United for Israel March to the hotbed of Columbia University. Word of the March in support of Israel quickly caught on and became huge, bringing much-needed encouragement to Jewish students, and others all around the city.

I spoke with Sean via email when he had a few minutes to describe how things went:

Aimee Herd: Sean, what are your thoughts as you see these antisemitic, anti-Israel protests breaking out across America, especially in light of the atrocities by Hamas last October 7th?

Sean Feucht: I would say ALL Americans should be horrified to see the response of these prominent university campuses, and how they've become seedbeds of antisemitism and Jew-hatred. I think it's disturbing, disgusting and vile. Everyone should want to see a response by the Church, and by sane Americans that are going to rise up against this!

AH: The anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian protests on Columbia University had become massive and violent at times, what made you decide to go in and support and march for Israel there, and what was your preparation? And are you ever fearful of going into a possibly violent situation like that?

SF: I was getting a lot of messages from students—Jewish students that were scared. They felt they were pushed into a corner and the university didn't have their backs. You've got to understand, Columbia, Yale, Harvard, these were all Bible-based institutions. I think the motto for Columbia was "Let the light of Christ illuminate your mind." And so, we're seeing this darkness creep in in these institutions—it's been happening for a while. I just thought it was time for America to see a different side of the narrative. It was time for America to see, not these weak, vile people who are spewing hatred to the Jews, but it was time to show America that we're not going to stand by and watch this happen, we're going to rise up. And there's more that are with us than those against us—I think we proved that with the March. I think the NYPD estimated it to be 4 to 5,000 people making it the largest pro-Israel march in the history of New York City. I think our point came across clearly to the media and them that we're done with this, and we're going to rise up, and we're going to support our Jewish brothers and sisters against the hate and violence that's come against them. Was I fearful? I think when you've got the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob on your side, you know you're on the right side. One person, plus God equals a majority. We've seen this happen as we faced antifa in Seattle, and we faced satanists in DC. Most of the time, these guys, it's just a front, and when we show up they become real sheepish and they start to back down.

AH: I had heard that many more showed up to support Israel than originally thought, can you give us an account of the evening, how many came out, and how it went--were there any particularly amazing moments?

SF: We started out worshiping and praying together at 15th and Morningside then we walked down to the university campus. We ended it in front of the gates of the campus, calling for the resignation of the president, as well as singing Jewish and American worship songs, and singing "God Bless America." I had Jewish students coming up to us in tears, saying you don't know how much this has encouraged us and emboldened and empowered us. And the cool thing is we probably had another one or two-thousand join us who were coming out of their dorm rooms, or their housing when they saw that we were there—like it gave permission for them to be bold. That was really, really cool. That was the reason we came. (Screengrab image: via Hannity)

AH: Were there any clashes with the protesters supporting Hamas?

SF: The New York Police Chief told me that there were some pro-Hamas protesters that were arrested. There were none arrested on our side. The pro-Hamas protesters tried to get violent but the NYPD were there and did a great job. They kept us safe, and really respected our right to march and to stand against this.

AH: Sean, do you have any spiritual or prophetic perspective on what's happening with these protests?

SF: Prophetically speaking, there's the antisemitic rage against Israel, it was promised that it would happen—the nations would rage against Israel. We're seeing that now, not only in Israel, but to Jewish people around the world. We have to recognize there's a spirit behind it. And fight through prayer, through boldness, courage and through worshiping God. And also rallying at the hotbeds of antisemitism which is right now—in America—on the university campuses.

AH: Will you continue to do other United for Israel marches? You've already been going to different states across America on the Kingdom to the Capitol tour, are you going to incorporate support for Israel with that at all?

SF: Yeah, we're really busy with the Capitol Tour but we're getting flooded with requests and messages all across America and college campuses. Some of the campuses like UCLA, and USC—even UT Austin, Harvard, Yale. We'll see what God does. It takes a lot of work to mobilize this. But this is definitely a worthy cause, so be praying for us, and everybody out there.

AH: What advice would you give to others who want to show their support for Israel in the face of these pro-Hamas protests?

SF: Join us! Join and pray for us, and donate to help make these happen. It takes a lot of work and money and time and effort. I would encourage people to pray—everybody can do that. I would also encourage people to donate if they can—it would be a blessing—to our ministry or other ministries that are standing against this evil. And then the third thing is to go, join us, show up in person. We had people flying in from all across America for this last event and it was really powerful. We would also like people to sign our petition at UnitedForIsraelMarch.com that’s very important.

On Monday, Sean shared on Fox News that the next United For Israel March will take place on May 8th at 5:30pm at the University of Southern California. He told host Harris Faulkner, "Enough is enough. We've got to stand up and not back down!" Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
