"More to Come," Says Representative "Rattled" by Sick Planned Parenthood Videos"I can tell you that the Center for Medical Progress does have more video footage. I do not know how they plan on rolling that out, but I think you have not seen the end of what they have uncovered is really the heart and soul of what happens there at Planned Parenthood." –Rep. Diane Black
Rep. Diane Black, R-TN, told CBN News she viewed the footage about two months ago. Now that it's public, she still said she finds herself "rattled" by what she saw and heard. "I can tell you that it was so emotional for me that I had a hard time not being tearful... seeing the inhumane activity that was occurring at Planned Parenthood and these clinics," she said. "And what I saw in the film was just rattling to me. The disrespect for life and just the kind of talk about how we can crush this child—and we do this by an ultrasound guided mechanism to be able to preserve this part or that part," she continued. "The lack of respect for human life was really rattling to me." The Tennessee Republican and former registered nurse has a bill to defund Planned Parenthood while Congress investigates. So far, she has more than 120 co-sponsors in the house, prompted by two undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress. "I can tell you that the Center for Medical Progress does have more video footage," she said. "I do not know how they plan on rolling that out, but I think you have not seen the end of what they have uncovered and it really is the heart and soul of what happens there at Planned Parenthood." Black is working to get the House to take action before Congress' August recess. She noted that Planned Parenthood performs more than 327,000 abortions a year, while getting more than $500 million in taxpayer money. Meanwhile, several prolife lawmakers have offered similar measures in the Senate. Fifty Republican senators are also calling on the Obama administration to investigate Planned Parenthood. U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the Justice Department will review the videos and determine whether to take action.
