This Muslim's Story of Converting From Jihad to Jesus Will Blow You AwayJerry Rassamni grew up as a militant Muslim fighting against Christians during the Lebanese Civil War. After moving to America before 9/11, the author of "Jihad to Jesus: An Ex-Militant's Journey of Faith" says the love of Christians gradually melted his hardened heart. "I read about a God who loved me," he says, "so that I could come before the throne of the Creator of the universe and call Him 'Baba.'"
Jerry Rassamni was caught in the middle of a religious war in Lebanon, one in which he was fighting against Christianity. It was that hatred that fueled him to fight the Jihad—or Muslim Holy War.
