Jews and Christians Fulfill Biblical Prophecy in "Four Corners Prayer Journey"

Raphael Poch : Oct 3, 2014  Breaking Israel News

"And He will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth." (Isaiah 11:12)

Jews and Christians from the four corners of the earth are invited to pray together for eight days this Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) for the final return of the Jewish people from the diaspora to the Land of Israel. Sukkot this year falls out between October 9-16.

For more than 60 years, Jews from Russia, Ethiopia, the US and other countries have been brought home to Jerusalem.

In a special prayer campaign run by the Israel Returns organization, the "Four Corners Prayer Journey" describes the call to Jews and Christians worldwide to join in interceding to help fulfill the Biblical prophecy of returning the Jewish nation to the Holy Land.

This living prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes by Israel Returns.

One of the major successes of Israel Returns this past year as well as a continuing mission for the coming year is the return of the Bnei Menashe, a Lost Tribe of the nation of Israel. Over 800 members of the Bnei Menashe returned to Israel over the past year and another 800 are set to come back this upcoming year.

The Bnei Menashe community has been exiled from the Land for more than 2,700 years. Israel Returns earnestly requests prayer to help fulfill this Godly mission.

"Sukkot," which in Hebrew means "booths," refers to the temporary dwellings that many Jewish people build annually from branches, leaves, and other natural materials to remind themselves of their forefathers’ 40 year journey in the wilderness, when they were entirely dependent on God’s provision. Some even eat their meals and sleep in a sukkah throughout the entire period. (Feast of Sukkot/via Haaretz.com)

Also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot is the third and final fall feasts, following the High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
In addition to celebrating God’s provision, Sukkot also celebrates and falls during the harvest season, hence it is perfectly aligned with the Israel Returns’ mission to facilitate God’s ingathering of Israel’s exiles. During the Feast of Tabernacles, when the Temple stood in Jerusalem, Jewish people brought sacrifices on behalf of non-Jewish nations; today many Christian pilgrims from across the world come to Israel annually to join in this celebration.

Galvanizing the prayers of both Jews and Christians during the eight days of the Feast of Tabernacles, Israel Returns’’ "4 Corner Prayer Journey" is raising awareness to the plight of Jews all over the world who are longing to be brought back to their ancestral heritage from India. Israel Returns continues to bring thousands of "Lost and Hidden Jews" from all over the world back to Israel to explore their Jewish roots and to live in the land of their forefathers, the Biblical patriarchs and Israelites.

Michael Freund, founder and director of Israel Returns, welcomes individuals and congregations to join this prayer initiative. "By standing together, Jews and Christians can fulfill prophecy and bring about great miracles," he told Breaking Israel News.
