However, as 1 Corinthians 13 tells us, "Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance" (NLT of verse 7), and perhaps we shouldn't lose hope that Justin will return wholeheartedly to the Christian faith he claims to know.

After all, it's often the worst circumstances that God uses in our lives to wake us up and start us running back to Him.

Last Saturday, 19-year-old Justin Bieber and his team reportedly searched for a private pool where members of the Hillsong Church in New York City could baptize him, as a "cleansing ritual."

Unfortunately they ran out of time.

Hillsong NYC's pastor, Carl Lentz is said to be a "friend of Bieber," according to a Charisma News report. And Justin was apparently in attendance there last fall when he tweeted to Lentz, "Amazing sermon at church this morning. Love you man. I broke down today."
