"Mom, you're embarrassing me!"

If you are the mother of a teenager, chances are you've probably heard a variation of those words at some point, as you've been a maternal cheer leader for whatever gifts and talents you hope others will see in your child.

My guess is this 15-year-old wasn't too upset with his mom after her persistence at a Michael Bubl? concert a few years ago, culminated in Michael himself calling the boy up on stage to sing with him.

Showing true graciousness, Michael interrupted his performance to give this boy a chance, saying, "Come up here for a moment, because I remember being your age."

Much to his obvious surprise?and the delight of the audience?the boy could sing!
