Earnest Prayer for the Nation . . .

Earlier this week, former Gov. Mike Huckabee put out a call for national prayer with A Day To Pray, this coming Sunday, January 20th.

The founders of the Day of Repentance have joined with the event to remind those praying for the nation that according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, it is also through repentance that the blessing comes . . . "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

The Day of Repentance News Alert states: We all have inadequacies; we all fall short of the glory of God. But what a privilege He gives us: if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Repentance thus is a positive, healthy process that the Lord wants to share with us [Revelation 3:19-20] to help us leave our old ways and turn towards His Purity as His Bride. Intimacy, Joy with Him follows repentance!

There's a huge moral decline in our nation . . . God has been speaking to us to get away from the "sand" of man's futile plans and come back to Him, the Rock. Matthew 7:24-29. Hurricane "Sandy" was followed by the horrible killings in "Sandy" hook. Instead of repenting, our leaders have completely missed His signs!

Believers from Australia, Cameroon, England, France, Israel, Nigeria, Pakistan and the Philippines will be praying with us on January 20 for repentance, for God's blessings for America.
