Woman accepts Jesus as her Savior at the age of 108, and dies a year later.

(Memphis, TN)—It's never too late to enter the Kingdom. Never.

Last year, at the ripe age of 108, Lula Wallace became a testament to that fact. Lula's daughter, Margaret Cooke and her husband Ben, had prayed for years that her mother would accept Jesus as her Savior. (Photo: The Christian Chronicle)

"Any time we had an opportunity," said Margaret, "we'd just say a few words . . . we've just always made sure that we lived the life before her and let her know that Christ always came first in our lives."

And what did the centenarian do when she surrendered her heart to Christ? She was baptized at the Norris Road Church of Christ.

Lula Wallace died on November 29, just a few weeks ago. She was 109. But in Heaven, where she now resides, she's forever young and eternally at peace.
