Respected Surgeon Shares Amazing Testimony of Dying and Going to Heaven"Each event, good or bad, is like a small thread woven together with others to create a glorious tapestry of God's design. I do not fear death." -Dr. Mary Neal Dr. Mary Neal is an orthopedic surgeon and author of the book "To Heaven and Back." "Before we return to Heaven," she continues, "our real home, we have an incredible opportunity on Earth to face challenges that will help us learn, grow, and to become more Christ-like in the fruits of our spirit. Our time is so short that we need to be about God's business every day." According to a Daily Mail report, Neal—who was trapped underwater for 15 minutes—said as she realized the situation was hopeless, she "called on what was then a moderate faith and asked only that God's will be done." Neal wrote on the Huffington Post that she was "immediately overcome with a physical sensation of being held, comforted, and reassured that everything would be fine regardless of whether I lived or died." In her book, Neal writes that spiritual beings appeared and brought her to Heaven where she conversed with several angels. She had an overwhelming desire not to leave Heaven, and while there was given a glimpse of her future, including knowledge of the death of her oldest son. It was not a dream, she insists, or an hallucination. Nor was it the "result of a dying brain and could not have been created by my limited imagination." Her life since that day has changed forever. Not only is her relationship with God rock solid, she no longer fears death.
