Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides were taken into custody after allegedly lying to Congress about their roles in the FBI's Hunter Biden investigations. They are alleged to have lied about their roles on the Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election and about information about Hunter Biden's laptop, with prosecutors alleging that the pair were involved in shaping the public narrative.
