[Weather.com] Hurricane Lowell continues to hammer parts of Hawaii with strong winds, flooding rain, surge and huge waves even as the center is now moving away from the island chain. The center of Hurricane Lowell is now over 100 miles northwest of Lihue, Kauai, and is moving away.
