New Research: The Big Questions on Teens' Minds Today

[Barna.com] Ask a group of American teenagers what questions they feel pressure to figure out, and the answers aren't what you'd expect. Today's 13–18-year-olds aren't just wondering who to sit with at lunch or whether someone likes them back. They're wondering whether their generation will have a future, whether truth is knowable, whether anyone genuinely cares, whether God is real. In a new Barna research report produced in partnership with Christ In Youth, 1,500 US teens ages 13–18 were asked how much pressure they personally feel to have answers to some of life's biggest questions. The sample spans the younger end of Gen Z through the leading edge of Gen Alpha—a cohort coming of age at a moment of cultural and technological disruption.
