[RedState.com] As RedState reported, the judges of the US District Court in New Jersey voted to oust Alina Habba from her role as the top federal prosecutor in the state. That came after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) publicly demanded the move, claiming she was a "woefully unqualified political hack," leading the Department of Justice to decry what they saw as a politically motivated decision. ... But in a stunning turn of events, Attorney General Pam Bondi appears to have exercised the nuclear option on Tuesday afternoon by using her power to remove Grace—or at least initiate that process. "@USAttyHabba has been doing a great job in making NJ safe again. Nonetheless, politically minded judges refused to allow her to continue in her position, replacing Alina with the First Assistant. Accordingly, the First Assistant United States Attorney in New Jersey has just been removed.
