One of my favorite photos of our president was taken as he embraced the American flag on stage during a speech.

And while there's an American flag perched atop the White House—the President said that it just wasn't enough—not for such a magnificent place as the White House.

"The White House opened in about 1800, just a tad before that, and I've always said, why doesn't it have a flagpole from the grass?" the President said.

So, [yesterday] the President had workers install two massive flag poles—100-feet tall. One on the north lawn and another on the south lawn...
