[The Free Press] For weeks, Gazans have risked their lives to protest the terrorist group that has ruled their lives for nearly 20 years. But this week's demonstrations marked a turning point: Possibly for the first time, anti-Hamas protesters have directly confronted Hamas members and expelled them from a public gathering. ... "People have become more daring," said Gazan activist Amin Abed in an interview. "They have begun to break their silence against this senseless death and how [Hamas] brought ruin and destruction upon our people." "These neighborhoods have witnessed how Hamas uses children and families as human shields," said another local activist, Ali Shureim.
