"The United States condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days. The United States stands with Syria's religious and ethnic minorities, including its Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities, and offers its condolences to the victims and their families. Syria's interim authorities must hold the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria's minority communities accountable." -Secretary Of State, Marco Rubio

[CBN News] United Nations Human Rights Commissioner Volker Türk is calling for an investigation into what he called "extremely disturbing" reports of mass killings in Syria's Latakia Province, home to minority Alawites, Christians, and others who are not part of the Sunni majority in Syria. Stories have emerged of entire families being murdered in their homes, with civilian casualties comprising the majority of the death toll. (Screengrab image: via Sky News)

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also condemned the killings by what he called "radical Islamic terrorists" and said the US "stands with ethnic minorities, including Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities." (Screengrab image: via Sky News)
