A report in The Post Millennial by Andy Ngo and Hannah Nightingale read:

The Abundant Life Christian School shooter has been identified as 15-year-old Natalie Lynn Rupnow. On Monday morning, Rupnow opened fire in the Madison, Wisconsin school's library, killing one student and one teacher, and injuring six others. Two of those are in critical condition. The shooter was found dead upon arrival by authorities. Rupnow went by "Samantha" or abbreviations thereof online. Her identity was confirmed by Madison police chief Shon Barnes. Rupnow was a student at the Abundant Life Christian School.

Almost immediately after it happened, speculation began on whether or not the shooter, who had taken her own life after killing two others, was also dabbling in transgender tendencies on the order of the Covenant school shooter in Nashville.

However, after reading the in-depth report by The Post Millennial, including pages that appear to be the shooter's "manifesto," posted on X by Reduxx's Anna Slatz, it seems that she is not trans, and identified as female, albeit an extremely troubled girl from a very broken home.

Within the alleged manifesto, Rupnow railed against her parents, who in her own words had divorced multiple times, and at one point included a convoluted description of possible sexual abuse earlier in her life.

None of it justifies any of her actions on Monday, of course, which have left families devastated and in mourning over the tragic event. They are in our prayers.
