[MRCTV.org] The House Judiciary Committee has voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress "for failing to provide the lawfully subpoenaed audio tapes of Special Counsel Robert Hur's interview of ...Biden," Republicans announced Thursday afternoon. "The transcript of the interview was released months ago," the Judiciary Committee's Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) explains, reacting to the news on her X.com page:

"There's no reason for AG Garland to withhold the audio or for Biden to invoke executive privilege to keep the tapes hidden from the public.

"What is so damning in the audio that this administration is afraid to release them?"

"DOJ Attorney General Merrick Garland has blatantly defied a subpoena to release the Hur interview recording with Biden about his withholding of classified documents," another Judiciary Committee member, Rep. Ben Cline (R-VA) posted before the vote.

There will now be a vote by full House of Representatives on whether or not Garland is found to be in contempt, despite ...Biden's claim of executive privilege, as Fox News explains:
