"Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast. I think it's one of the biggest problems we have. That's why our country is going haywire..." -President Donald Trump

[ToddStarnes.com] President Trump is facing ugly attacks for promoting a leather-bound gift Bible that includes copies of Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance and the lyrics to Lee Greenwood's hit song, "God Bless the USA." The "God Bless the USA Bible" also includes the King James Version of [the] Holy Scriptures.

"This Bible is a reminder that the biggest thing we have to bring back America and to make America great again is our religion," Trump said in a video message. "Religion is so important. It's so missing. But it's going to come back and it's going to come back strong, just like our country is going to come back strong."

During my interview with President Trump for my book, "Twilight's Last Gleaming: Can America Be Saved?," the president reiterated the importance of faith in our nation.

"Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast," the president said in the video posted yesterday. "I think it's one of the biggest problems we have. That's why our country is going haywire. We've lost religion in our country. All Americans need a Bible in their home and I have many. It's my favorite book. It's a lot of people's favorite book." (Screengrab image: via Truth Social / ABC News)

The president also urged Americans to return to the faith of our Founding Fathers.

"Let's make America pray again," he declared.

The president's passionate message was met with ugly scorn and derision—much of it coming from so-called "wokevangelicals."

The so-called "Christians" also feigned horror at the $59.99 price tag. Well, I did a quick survey of national bookstores and most leather-bound study Bibles cost nearly three times more than the price of the "God Bless the USA Bible."... Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
