Revival In Tulsa

Paul Daugherty, the pastor of Victory Church in Tulsa, believes that he is seeing revival happening inside the church. "People are weeping there at the altar," Paul recalled during their Sunday service on February 18.

"And I'm seeing businessmen and women that I've never seen come down to the front," he told KJRH-TV.

When Asbury revival broke out, Paul longed for the same fire to fall on their place. "Lord, if You could do it there, do it here," he asked God, together with his wife.

Then, on their Sunday service, God started to move. Paul was supposed to preach what he had prepared, but God told him to press on to what He was leading.

Paul said, "I was wrestling on it. You know, I don't want to be a copy. I don't want people to go, 'Oh, they're just copying ... Asbury, just trying to do what another church did.' But the last thing I wanna do is try to reproduce something that is not genuine."

After their experience on Saturday night service, God was not yet done with them. On their Sunday 9 am service, God was filling the hungry hearts of His people. And it was so that they never left. Their service went on for three days, ending on Wednesday night at 9 pm.

Paul shared that the gathering was filled with a "beautiful outpouring of God's presence and power in each service." There was "healing, freedom, repentance, and restoration."

He added, "[God] shows up where people seek Him genuinely and desire to surrender their hearts to Jesus."

When asked about his view on God's move, Paul answered, "I do think He is getting the Church ready. I think He's waking the Church up to a place of surrender for something." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
