'We Finally Did It': Texas Municipality Becomes 'Sanctuary City for the Unborn'

American Family News reports Odessa, Texas, has become the latest city to declare itself a pro-life city.
Odessa Mayor Javier Joven celebrated the ban, according to Texas Scorecard. He said, "It took two years, but we finally did it: We are finally a Sanctuary City for the Unborn."
"If you do not have the votes on your city council to protect pregnant mothers and their unborn children by keeping abortion out of your community, then do your part to get the right people into office who will protect pregnant mothers and their unborn children by keeping abortion out of your community," he added.
The 17-page Odessa ordinance was passed on Nov. 23 by the Odessa City Council as soon as newly elected members of the council were sworn into office, according to The Texan. The council voted 5-1 with one abstaining to approve the measure. The council also approved the ordinance 6-1 on the second reading of the measure on Dec. 13...
