Ché Ahn: 'Battling for the Soul of a Nation'--It Is Truly a Battle between Good and Evil

...During this season, we are seeing the darkness getting darker and the light getting brighter. I have been sharing from Haggai 2:7-9 that the global shaking is going to continue. But God has a plan, and at the end of the day, light wins (see Revelation 11:15).
[Harvest International Ministry] Early last month, a primetime newscast brought one of the most unsettling and divisive presidential speeches into homes across America. Set against an ominous red backdrop at Independence Hall, ...Biden denounced and demonized half of the nation that he solemnly vowed to serve. The present threat to democracy, he declared, is not a terrorist group or Communist regime. The threat supposedly lies in the heartland of conservative voters, repeatedly singled out as "MAGA Republicans." (Image: Pexels)
Instead of tackling the hard issues—including the economy, border crisis, and crime rate, for starters—Biden used his platform to slander US citizens who oppose his party's ideology. Meanwhile the true "extremism" that needs to be called out is the dangerous indoctrination of our children in public schools. It is the woke media silencing countless conservative thinkers. It is the radical agenda trying to push late-term abortion beyond limits.
Yet, ...Biden spoke the truth when he declared that we are in "a battle for the soul of this nation." It is plain to see—from all sides of the political spectrum—that the future of America and the next generation are at the center of this intense battle. It is truly a battle between good and evil.
During this season, we are seeing the darkness getting darker and the light getting brighter. I have been sharing from Haggai 2:7-9 that the global shaking is going to continue. But God has a plan, and at the end of the day, light wins (see Revelation 11:15).
On April 14, 2022, the day before Good Friday, the Lord spoke to my heart that we were entering into an "epic season of social transformation." I wrote this word down in my prayer journal with an expectant heart. Since then, history has been made with the overturning of Roe v. Wade on June 24.
We also have seen a series of US Supreme Court cases since May that have been unusually significant. These include SCOTUS siding with Joe Kennedy, a public high school teacher and coach who was fired for his simple desire to pray on the 50-yard line at football games. The Supreme Court also sided with Christian parents in rural Maine, who can now receive school vouchers to pay for online Christian education, whereas before it was any school choice but Christian. And the list of cases goes on. There is momentum building as God's Kingdom is advancing like never before!
On top of that, we are seeing Believers excelling in the political realm. There are many Christian candidates who have won their primaries and are poised to win their races in the midterm elections. In my 49 years of following Jesus, I have never seen so many Believers running for office and winning! (Image: via Harvest International Ministry)
I believe this is a pivotal moment where we must do two things:
1. ACT: We must mobilize Believers to vote for Biblical values, including pro-life, pro-family and pro-religious freedom. Personally I have been traveling nonstop over the past few months, encouraging churches wherever I go to take decisive action that will help elect conservative Christian candidates.
2. PRAY: In these final days leading up to the midterms, we need to wage war in the spirit and intercede over the destiny of our nation. Whether your home is in America or one of the 65-plus nations in our global HIM family, our unified prayers are powerful to shape the future of our nations. I invite you to agree with me in declaring this prayer, to reverse the word curse over our land: Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
"Lord, we forgive those who curse—especially those who curse while they bear official authority. Cover their words with the Blood of Jesus, and strip all permissions given to the enemy to attack. Destroy those curses and any curse carriers. Reverse the curse, and bring forth blessing instead. In Jesus' name."*
