The individual behind "Libs of Tik Tok," though, has refused to back down, continuing to expose videos many conservatives believe expose gender issues and biases in schools and other arenas.
[Faithwire.com] The owner of "Libs of TikTok," a social media account that has gained a massive following for sharing disturbing and oft-strange videos of purported progressive bias in education and other facets of society, issued a strongly-worded forewarning over the weekend to Twitter. "If Twitter permanently bans me, I'll sue them," reads the title of a statement published Saturday on the Libs of TikTok website.
The notice accused Twitter of "wrongfully" suspending the Libs of TikTok account last week for seven days—a penalization reportedly related to a post in which the account allegedly "exposed a hospital that admitted to performing gender-affirming hysterectomies on healthy minors."
The Libs of TikTok owner said she was told the reason for her suspension centered on the sharing of "hateful conduct," but pushed back on that characterization.
"I did not engage in hateful conduct," she wrote. "I accurately reported the truth."
The suspension comes as Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz—who previously sparked outrage for publishing the Libs of TikTok founder's identity—published an article explaining the struggles Twitter is having when it comes to dealing with the account.
"Twitter has left up the account inspiring the attacks, despite its employees voicing concerns in internal Slack channels that it's 'only a matter of time' before the posts lead to someone getting killed," the article read, in part.
The founder of Libs of TikTok, though, said she won't take kindly to any further punishments.
"The only thing more aggressive than a seven-day suspension would be a permanent ban," she wrote. "But if that happens—if they ban my account for hateful conduct when all I've done is report the facts—then I'll sue them for breach of contract..." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
