'Let Freedom Roll': The People's Convoy Forms in the US; Plans to Travel from CA to DC Beginning Feb 23rd

Even as Canadian police have just arrested two leaders of the Freedom Convoy that made their bold stand in Ottawa, America's own trucker convoy for freedom from mandates is forming, and has announced they'll begin heading to Washington DC from California on February 23rd. (Screengrab image)
"The People's Convoy" is the name given to the US version of the peaceful protest, and according to their website, it won't be just trucks, but all are welcome to join the convoy in support of freedom and the Constitution.
Brian Brase, one of the People's Convoy organizers told The Epoch Times, "It might be truckers that started it—standing up. But this is 'The People's Convoy' for a reason. This is for every American, no matter where you come from or your personal background. This is for every person to be a part of. This is not a left issue or a right issue. This is an American issue. And this convoy is for everyone. Moms in soccer vans, to motorcycles, to buses full of hippies, it [doesn't] matter. This is for everyone that believes in their personal freedoms as a human being, and as an American, their personal freedoms that are protected by the Constitution of the United States."
National organizer for The People's Convoy, Maureen Steele spoke with Newsmax's Eric Bolling, noting that security during the trip is an important concern. "The Canadian convoy was pretty organic when it happened," she said. "Ours, they had a month's notice, so our concern is disruptive groups coming in. We're trying to just prepare for counter-protests and to take safety precautions for that."

To our elected officials that believe they rule us: YOU work for US. Our constitution was written to provide enough power to act on a national level, but not enough to deprive the people of fundamental rights. The people are prepared to see this challenge through—as we have seen through all challenges to our Freedom in the past. And we will prevail and prosper.
To our brave and courageous neighbors to the North—our Canadian brothers and sisters who led the charge—we join your call to Freedom with THE PEOPLE'S CONVOY.
