The censorship coming from social media platforms was bad enough, but with the White House now joining forces with Big Tech, things are looking more and more like George Orwell's "1984."
You may have read in the news, recently, how the Biden administration has decided to "flag" "problematic" posts on social media that are—in their minds—spreading so-called "misinformation." (Image: Pixabay)
Or perhaps you've already experienced your posts or even your profile being blocked or banned, because your information differs or is contrary to what the mainstream media, the CDC and the White House; or even Facebook and Twitter have deemed to be "truth."

Obviously, one way to fight back on this trampling of Americans' First Amendment Rights is to vacate those social media platforms engaging in such free speech suppression.
But, let's face it, social media does certainly have its benefits; such as keeping in closer touch with friends and family; seeing photos from them you may never have seen otherwise.
So what can a freedom-loving, social media-active American do?
Fortunately, there are options—SWITCH!
XAPiT (pronounced "Zappit") is a new alternative to Facebook, using a similar layout that is easy to understand, and will feel familiar to former users of Facebook.
And for Twitter fans who'd like an alternative—thanks to President Trump—now there is GETTR.
Both of these social media platforms champion free speech and the First Amendment, and will not "shadow ban" or outright ban a user, (unless they violate their reasonable restrictions). And there is no charge for using either one.
"With XAPiT, all content—conservative and liberal, Christian or non-Christian—is welcome AND even encouraged," founder Steve Shultz says.
In addition, XAPiT promises that they "will NOT sell or give away any of your private information to anyone else. Period." (No more ads that mysteriously mention your latest purchase on Amazon!)
GETTR, with a similar format to that of Twitter, was created by former Trump spokesman Jason Miller, according to a Washington Examiner report, which noted that the platform passed 1.5 million users in record time.
Especially with the White House "cracking down" on what they call "misinformation," it's important for American citizens to know and explore their options for a "Big Brother-free" social media experience. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
