[Faithwire.com] Comedian Jon Stewart made a rare media appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night. "I think we owe a great debt of gratitude to science," Stewart began, initially praising the work to help stem the pandemic. The praise, however, was short lived, as he added, "They helped ease the suffering of this pandemic... which was more than likely, caused by science."

Stewart then, in his patented sarcastic and biting tone, laid out how absurd it is to dismiss the idea that it came from a lab in China.

When Colbert mentioned that there was a chance it could've come from a lab, an incredulous Stewart retorted, "A chance?! 'There's a novel respiratory coronavirus overtaking Wuhan, China – what do we do?' Oh, you know who we could ask? The Wuhan novel respiratory coronavirus lab. The disease is the same name as the lab!
