"I think there are a lot of quiet voters out there who just fear the left. The left is using violence in this street they're using intimidation." -Dave Brat

Brat said there are several dangers for the Trump campaign. The media has done its best to muzzle important stories that show the effort Democrats made to try and tie Trump to Russia. He pointed to lingering polls showing Joe Biden with a healthy lead and the president's COVID-19 diagnosis that set him back a few days.

But he said he's optimistic because the president "knows how to close" and it seems that Republicans have rallied around the president. He said he also believes that there are a lot of Trump supporters afraid to speak out in favor of the president. He said he lives in Richmond and said if you "say the wrong thing" about "the Orangeman" in public, your house gets pelted.

"I think there are a lot of quiet voters out there who just fear the left," he said. "The left is using violence in this street they're using intimidation."

He said he is dumbfounded at the amount of support that the Democrats seem to be receiving from Catholics and Evangelicals after the party's removed any mentioned of God from its platform.

"The last person to do that in the history of thought was a guy named Karl Marx," he said. "Right? No God, no human rights, no law. Just, 'Trust me, and when we take power, you'll be my buddy.'"

He said, "I just can't believe how miseducated our culture has become."

Todd Starnes, the host of the radio show, agreed, and said one of the reasons why the public is so uneducated on the issues is due to the fact that a majority of what they read are posts on Twitter written by a person who likely knows less about the issue than they do. Starns appeared skeptical of the polls and pointed to the large rallies that Trump has held and excitement around his campaign.

"Trump knows how to close, he's the consummate dealmaker," he said. "So he's going to close hard and strong... so I hope we have a few surprises too." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
