On Tuesday, President Trump and his Coronavirus Task Force, which included Vice President Mike Pence, sat down for a virtual town hall outside in the White House Rose Garden, along with Fox News' Bill Hemmer. (Screengrab image: via Fox News)

The group took video questions from viewers around the country, discussing details on the response to coronavirus.

A somewhat surprising statement by President Trump was that he was looking at Easter as the possible time the quarantine would be mostly over, and things would return to a new normal, taking into account heightened hygiene and more careful practices.

Later, Bill Hemmer questioned President Trump on his comments about that date, as he walked with him back to the White House.

President Trump clarified his words this way:

"Look, Easter's a very special day for me ... wouldn't it be great to have all of the churches full? Y'know the churches essentially haven't had much of a congregation [because of quarantine], I watched on Sunday, online. And it was terrific by the way, but online is never going to be like being there. So I think Easter Sunday, and you'll have packed churches all over our country, I think it would be a beautiful time. And it's just about the timeline that I think is right ... I'm not sure that's going to be the day, but I would like to aim it right at Easter so we're open for church services ... on Easter Sunday. That would be a beautiful thing." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
