Democrat Socialists of America Conference Unmasked for Ridiculous 'Noise Triggering,' and Gender Pronoun, Racial Obsessions: Theater of the Absurd

Tucker Carlson also lampooned the video—showing, among other things, attendees raising their hands quietly instead of clapping, so as not to "trigger" noise-sensitive conference goers—on his August 5th show. It's perfect fodder for Saturday Night Live, but would the notoriously liberal comedy program dare touch it?

It seems Comrade James Jackson of Sacramento, who goes by the pronouns he/him, had a big problem with his fellow socialists.

"Can we please keep the chatter to a minimum," one comrade asked. "I'm one of the people who is very, very prone to sensory overload. There's a lot of whispering and chattering going on. It's making it very difficult for me to focus. Can we please keep the chattering to a minimum? It's affecting my ability to focus."

"Thank you, comrade," the moderator replied.

At that point, another "comrade" called for a point of privilege.

"Please do not use gendered language to address everyone," the distraught socialist yelled.

Well, apparently his fellow comrades did not pay heed to Mr. Jackson's request so he took to the microphone one more time.

"Hi, James Jackson Sacramento DSA he/him," he said. "I have already asked people to be mindful of the chatter of their comrades who are sensitive to sensory overload and that goes double for the heckling and the hissing. It is also triggering to my anxiety."
