MAGA Hat Attack: New York Man Severely Beaten for Daring to Wear Trump Hat in Public

[PJMedia.com] A New York man suffered severe injuries to his face earlier this week after he says he was viciously beaten for wearing one of President Trump's "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) hats. (Image: YouTube /via PJ Media)

Jahangir "John" Turan, the owner of a New York City art gallery, told Fox 5 New York that on Tuesday he was "jumped" in Manhattan by a group of about 15 "teens" who yelled obscenities like "*#!@ Trump."

Turan said that he had visited Trump Tower earlier in the day and purchased the MAGA hat to show his support for the president. "I love President Trump. I think he's doing a great job," he told reporters at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

Turan said that one of the assailants smashed his head into a scaffolding pole. While he was on the ground, the brutes allegedly stomped on him.

"They beat me up for wearing the hat," Turan said. "They were saying 'Why are you wearing that?' One girl flipped the hat off my head, and I tried to grab it. Then they came after me. One guy grabbed me from behind and slammed my head against a metal post."

Police were not able to make any arrests when they arrived at the scene, in part because Turan was unable to give the officers a good description of his attackers... Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
