Civil Rights for the Unborn
Currently, one little girl is being attacked in the media for saying that little children in the womb are treated like slaves. She is correct. Slaves and little babies have little or no say over whether they will live or die. We are one blood, one human race; science and Acts 17:26 agree on that truth. It is not right to kill innocent people; for any reason." -Alveda King, niece of the Late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
(Titusville, FL) — [Alveda King's Blog] Evangelist Alveda King, Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn for Priests for Life, is "up in arms" regarding recent remarks by New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president. (Image: via Civil Rights for the Unborn)
In an interview with the Des Moines Register, Sen. Gillibrand compared pro-life beliefs to racism.
"The lady is guilty of speaking opposites and double speak," said Ms. King. "Her argument is faulty because she is stating that we are forcing religious views on her. Not so. Actually, we are stating scientific facts, that a baby in the womb is a human being and should have equal rights to life.
"This scientific fact is aligned with Bible teachings. A woman has a right to choose what she does with her body. The baby is not her body. The contributions of chromosomes from both parents of the child in the womb make the baby a distinct person. Where is the lawyer for the baby? How can the dream survive if we murder our children?
"I was lied to by the abortion industry in the 1970s. Told that my two aborted babies and the one miscarried due to damage to my cervix from the abortions were not people, that they were 'blobs of tissue.' My grandfather, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Sr. convinced my mother not to abort me in 1950. He told Mama that they were lying to her. 'That's not a lump of flesh. That is my granddaughter. You can't abort her. I saw her in a dream three years ago. She has bright skin and bright red hair, and she is going to bless many people,' he told her. I was born on January 22, 1951.Granddaddy later helped to save one of my six living children from abortion.
"Kirsten Gillibrand is wrong. Abortion is a civil wrong. Life is a civil right.
"Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood which is America's largest abortion provider, was a consultant to the Ku Klux Klan. She was a terrible racist, a genocidal eugenicist.
"In promoting the sanctity of all human life from the womb to the tomb as racist, Sen. Gillibrand is revealing her true colors. She is supporting abortion, one of the most heinous forms of racism that exists. Abortion kills the weakest members of our human race; babies in the womb. A woman's reproductive rights should never include the death of an innocent human being."
Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, added, "Sen. Gillibrand not only is insulting the children in the womb, but countless Americans who defend them, and who realize that we need public servants who know the difference between serving the public and killing the public."
Alveda and Fr. Frank also praised the young girl in North Carolina who spoke up fearlessly for the unborn at a City Council meeting in Raleigh.
"Regardless of skin color, gender, economic status and other human denominators, little children see the truth clearly. Little babies in the womb are people. Currently, one little girl is being attacked in the media for saying that little children in the womb are treated like slaves. She is correct. Slaves and little babies have little or no say over whether they will live or die. We are one blood, one human race; science and Acts 17:26 agree on that truth. It is not right to kill innocent people; for any reason," Ms. King concluded. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
