Young Girl Bravely Advocates for Unborn at Raleigh City Council Meeting While Grown Adults Shout and Jeer at Her

One need only remember Joan of Arc to realize one brave young girl can change the course of a nation's history.

Addison Woosley, 13, requested that Raleigh be made a "sanctuary city for the unborn" and highlighted many of the horrors surrounding abortion in the United States.

"Abortion should be illegal because it is murder. The definition of murder is the killing of one human being by another," Woosley boldly stated.

"On ultrasounds, the baby tries to run away from the disturbing instruments that try to kill the baby," she added, lamenting the sheer number of young lives which are taken in such brutal fashion.

"The baby's mouth opens wide in a scream when being killed. These babies are alive," the youngster added. "They feel being killed. It hurts them and there is nothing they can do about it. There is no way around it. Abortion is murder."

During her articulate speech the teenager also invoked her personal faith in Jesus.

"Another good reason abortion is wrong is that God says it's wrong," she said, prompting gasps from the audience. "It's only by His grace that your mother didn't abort you, because if she did, you wouldn't be sitting here today."
