Two videos: one for your illumination, one for your enjoyment.
(Israel)—I found two very interesting videos this week on Israel National News that I'm passing along to BCN readers for their illumination and enjoyment.
The first is a video of Jews ascending Joseph's tomb on the first day of the month of Tammuz, the anniversary of the his death. When one thinks of Joseph's extraordinary life—his being sold into slavery, his stellar rise to power in Egypt, and his reconciliation with his brothers—it is nothing short of phenomenal that he is buried in Israel and that his burial spot is being refurbished as a holy site for Israeli's to visit.
My own fascination with watching people dance spurred me to share the next video, entitled, "Who Says Jews Can't Dance." Set to apparently contemporary Jewish music, the video cameos a variety of Jewish people of different professions dancing. Three minutes of watching doctors, rabbis and students—young and old—dance at weddings, in offices, and on the streets, made me want to leap from my seat and try some moves myself.
It also made me imagine how awesome it would be to watch God dance. Wow, could He change the atmosphere with one flick of His wrist or turn of His ankle!
