Baby Boy Found in Church Nativity Manger

(Poettmes, Germany)—An AP news story out of Germany says police were surprised to find a baby boy in the manger of a church nativity at Peter and Paul Church. He has been named "Christian." (File photo)

According to the report, the boy's mother had hoped someone would find him and take care of him because she was in a "difficult personal situation."

Currently, the child is being cared for and the church is said to be gathering donations to help the mother care for her son.
