Engaged Couple to Marry After Year-Long "No-Kissing" Rule

(Chicago, Ill.)?Claudaniel Fabien, 30, and his 28-year-old fiancee, Melody LaLuz?both of whom teach abstinence classes in Chicago public schools?are getting married this coming weekend. That's not unusual, of course. What is remarkable is that, due to their commitment to remain pure until marriage, after a year-long courtship they have never kissed.
According to a story in the Chicago Tribune, their "no-kissing" rule was a way for them to prevent things from "getting out of hand." LaLuz disagreed with oft-quoted adage "test drive the car before you buy," by saying she believes "you can't take the car out of the parking lot until you pay for it."
