"On the occasion of the puja, we the Hindu community here are greeting the peace-loving Mizos [Christians] for their hospitality."
(India)—Christian Today reports that Hindus in the predominately Christian state of Mizoram thanked the Christians there for allowing them to observe a recent Hindu holiday peacefully, in light of the current persecution of Christians in Orissa and Karnataka. P. Chakraborty, President of the Aizawl-based Hindustan Club and the state's Law Secretary, was quoted as saying the Hindu community received warm wishes and goodwill from the Mizos during the puja.
