Concerned parents are urged to contact cinemas such as National Amusement and Cinemark, which have not acted so far.
The American Family Association (AFA) is urging people to send a message of thanks to the AMC Theater chain which has pulled the controversial movie Hounddog, after outcry from concerned parents and others.
Among other disturbing scenes, the movie depicts the rape of a 9-year-old, played by child actress Dakota Fanning. Christian movie critic, Ted Baehr warned that the film actually "promotes pedophilia."
While the AFA applauds AMC theaters for removing the movie from their 5,117 theaters across the country; there are other theaters which are still running the film. Concerned parents are urged to contact cinemas such as National Amusement and Cinemark, which have not acted so far.
