The Australian Broadcasting Company recently noted that the procedure is currently being tested on animals, with clinical trials for humans expected to begin sometime in the near future.

"In this case," remarked Focus on the Family Action's bioethics analyst Dawn Vargo, "it looks like medical waste in the form of extracted teeth could have the healing properties to treat stroke patients."
