Bill...doesn't sell or even take any offerings for his boards...
(Albuquerque, NM)—Bill King combined his faith in Jesus and his knowledge of the Scriptures with the knot-tying skills that he obtained during his years as a petty officer in the United States Coast Guard.
The result was the Jesus Knot Board, a unique tribute to the Lord Jesus Christ and His followers.
According to his website, when Bill originally started making the Jesus Knot Boards, they were only for his family and friends—to remind them who Jesus is, what He did and means to us. Bill said he wanted to make sure the message he was spreading was accurate, so he decided to show the boards to well-known ministers who he knew and loved Jesus and understood the Bible.
Writing on his website, Bill said he sent a board to the Billy Graham Assoc., and another to Charles Stanley. Bill said he hoped that they would correct any erroneous information on the board. Instead, they had nothing but praise for his work. The positive response Bill received from Graham and Stanley inspired him to use the boards as his mission for spreading the Word of God.
That was about 12 years ago, and a lot has happened since then. According to Bill's website, several hundred knot boards now hang in museums, libraries, churches, missions, businesses, private homes, children's camps, military bases, ships, shelters, hospitals, restaurants, nursing homes, hotels and veterans' organizations in 34 countries.
On his website, Bill said each part of a board acknowledges that Jesus is Lord and Savior.

Bill's commentary on each board is very encouraging, as well as being informative and inspirational. He also personalizes each board, choosing scriptures and sayings that capture the personalities of its recipients.
Bill told me that he doesn't sell or even take any offerings for his boards and all the rights belong to the recipients.
