"I can't think of a worse decision for the communist Chinese government to make." ?U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham
(Washington, D.C.) While some reports indicate China is denying allegations by the Catholic News Agency that they intend to ban Bibles during next year's Beijing Olympics, a WorldNetDaily report says U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is not letting the issue slide without confronting it head-on: (Photo: WorldNetDaily)
"I can't think of a worse decision for the communist Chinese government to make," Graham told Fox News, adding that if the policy hasn't yet been adopted, but is being considered, it should be "taken off the table."
Graham wasn't the only government official to express alarm. Congressman Thaddeus McCotter, on the floor of the U.S. House, called on China's communist government to let the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom or another international human rights group have unrestricted access to the events, to "ensure the protection of Christians and other religious persons."
