James Dobson's Son Exhorts Christians Not to be Afraid to Defend Sanctity of Life and Marriage

"There's a lot of 'nice' Christians. I'm just not one of them."

(Keizer, Oregon)?Author and youth culture expert Ryan Dobson is the son of Focus on the Family founder James Dobson and his wife Shirley. On a speaking engagement recently to Oregon, Dobson told students at the Salem Academy, a private Christian school, that "even children know eliminating standards and basic beliefs is ridiculous."

"Deep inside kids know that you can't just believe everything, because if you believe everything, essentially you believe nothing," he said.

Exhorting Christians to not be afraid to stand strong for the sanctity of life and marriage, he added, "There's a lot of 'nice' Christians. I'm just not one of them."
