"Seventy-five percent of convicted rapists admit they were acting out what they had seen in pornography, and 80 percent of child molesters admit their spiral down began with pornography."
(Washington, DC)—Even if you only receive the basic television networks on your TV, it's there—in commercials, promos for upcoming shows—you really have a hard time escaping the downward trend of immorality that the airwaves have taken.
This, coupled with the readily available smut on computers, and now even cell phones, has helped to shackle this country with an increasingly obvious addiction to pornography.
In an effort to create a greater awareness of this problem, as well as looking at ways to combat it, this week has been designated as "White Ribbons Against Pornography week (WRAP).
One of the more disturbing facts about the problem was noted by CWA president, Wendy Wright, who said, "Seventy-five percent of convicted rapists admit they were acting out what they had seen in pornography, and 80 percent of child molesters admit their spiral down began with pornography."
