10-Year Anniversary of "Stand in the Gap" Sees Thousands of Men Gather on DC Mall

(Washington, DC)?The Christian Post reports on the 10-year anniversary of "Stand in the Gap", a gathering of men on the mall in Washington, DC, for prayer, the Word, worship, and proclamation.

Thousands of men?husbands, fathers, and sons?attended the event, falling to their knees in prayer for their country, and renewing their pledge to stand for the Lord. (Photo: Christian Post)

Marty Granger, chairman of Stand in the Gap 2007, addressed the gathering from the stage. "We will not remember being here 10 years ago," he said. "We won't remember just some mountaintop experience. We will remember the character of God and the holiness of God and the name of God. We're here to renew our commitment...our priorities."
