(Iraq)—Better news seems to be coming out of Iraq these days, as the latest numbers show a sharp drop in the level of U.S. and civilian casualties, last month. In fact, the AP reported that the amount of U.S. and Iraqi civilian deaths was at its lowest level in more than a year. (Photo: MSNBC)
According to the article, the decline is further evidence that the recent increase of U.S. troops was a catalyst in quelling violence in Baghdad, and other hot spots that were addressed in the buildup.
