(Plymouth, Mass.)—A Christian Post report states that a "family-friendly, Spiritainment" film company, Good News Holdings, may develop a "massive, Hollywood-type studio" in Plymouth, Mass.
Some envision the project as becoming a mini "Hollywood East," except the goal of Good News Holdings is to bring "content that will challenge the mind, capture the heart, refresh the spirit, and please God." (Graphic: Good News Holdings)
"If you look at movies like Lord of the Rings and Narnia, they are of a Judeo-Christian nature," said David Kirkpatrick, cofounder of Good News Holdings and a former president of Paramount Pictures. "We want to keep faith in the mix, but we're not going to wear it on our sleeve."
