Man Who Walks in on Armed Burglar Diffuses Deadly Encounter With Coffee, Prayer and a Hug
"You don't want to do this. First of all, if you harm me or kill me, I'm just going to go to Heaven. You're going to go to prison forever."
(San Antonio, Texas)?Steve Swanson is a Texas Christian who recently walked into a burglary in process in his own home. Instead of panicking, Swanson told the burglar, who was armed with a knife in one hand and a gun in the other: "You don't want to do this. First of all, if you harm me or kill me, I'm just going to go to Heaven. You're going to go to prison forever." (Photo: KSAT News)
Swanson then proceeded to fix the intruder some coffee, share some fatherly advice and pray with him. They parted with a hug.
