A huge hit with the military; soldiers will love it.
(United Kingdom)—After witnessing several natural disasters, U.K. businessman Michael Pritchard turned his hand to inventing a bottle that can purify undrinkable water in a matter of seconds, distilling 4,000—6,000 litres without changing the filter.
According to a report in the Telegraph U.K. (link provided), a prototype of the "Life Saver" bottle was voted "Best Technological Development" at a Soldier Technology conference. (Photo: Ian Jones/Telegraph U.K.)
The invention was apparently such a hit, that Pritchard's entire stock of bottles was sold in one afternoon.
