"The winds are horrible...they send roofs flying through the air, so we aren't going outside because it is too dangerous."
(La Ceiba, Honduras)—The Associated Press (AP) reports that Nicaragua's Miskito Coast took the first full brunt of the record-setting category 5 hurricane known as "Felix," on Tuesday, as it reached landfall with almost 160 mile-per-hour winds.

Red Cross official Claudio Vanegas, in the Nicaraguan town of Puerto Cabezas, said by phone that "The winds are horrible...they send roofs flying through the air, so we aren't going outside because it is too dangerous."
